  Dr. Phelan recently delivered my second baby and it was definitely a better experience than the delivery of my first with the on call doctor I didn't even know at another hospital! He just helped me feel at ease and awesome bedside manner. The whole delivery process in general makes me very anxious but this feeling was eased by knowing I was in good hands of an exceptional doctor. Pregnancy is a crazy experience, it's great to have a doctor that knows you and spends time addressing your concerns. I would recommend this office to anyone without a doubt, Carrie and Emily are awesome too. The nurses in the hospital kept saying he's the best and I think that says a lot too. I will be returning for yearly exams and if I decide to have a third.

  I cannot begin to express my appreciation for Dr. Phelan and this practice. I came to Dr. Phelan for my 3rd pregnancy after my previous OB retired. His office staff is incredibly kind and helped me through my entire pregnancy. Dr. Phelan put me at ease and was gracious through all of my questions, even after hours. My baby was delivered by csection 6 weeks ago and we are both doing great. I can honestly say I am sad to not visit this wonderful staff regularly but so thankful I found them!

  I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Phelan and his staff. As a first time mom, I was SO nervous about choosing an OB. I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Phelan. I wanted a natural unmedicated birth and so I showed up to one of our appointments with a pretty thorough birth plan. He was so kind and took the time to go over it with me and fully supported my decisions. Whelp, I am now an advocate for getting an epidural :) and pretty much threw my birth plan out the window. He was very calm and supportive through the labor and delivery. After 3 hours of pushing, he was very good about laying out what options were available at that point and left the decision up to my husband and I. ...

  Amazing doctor all around. He was fantastic during my whole pregnancy, however, where it really mattered was during delivery....I'm positive my labor wouldn't have gone as smoothly with any other doctor. He was calm, in control, and took good care of me and my son. In addition, we ended up using forceps during delivery. I was, of course, nervous and one of the nurses at the hospital leaned down to say he's the only doctor she would trust to use them. Also, a different nurse told me that she had her daughter in law change insurance plans so that she could have Dr. Phelan during her pregnancy. He's so wonderful I had my Mom start to go to him as well. I'm pregnant again and can't tell how comfortable I feel to be with Dr. Phelan.

  Before I got pregnant, I had not been to any Doctors in years. It took me some time to look through my options & check reviews before choosing the Doctor who would be with me through my whole pregnancy & potentially delivery my first baby. Dr Phelan had some great reviews so I decided to give him a try & we really liked him from the start. He has a very calm, relaxed demeanor & he has a good balance between being professional & still being able to joke a bit as well. The ready of his staff were always great too, very friendly & helpful. The wait times were never long at all, I think the longest I waited ONCE was about 20 minutes because Dr Phelan was assisting with an Emergency C-Section at the hospital across the street which was completely understandable & we didn't mind waiting. I had my baby on January 30th & we were so happy that Dr Phelan was able to be there to deliver our Son. I would highly recommend Dr Phelan to others & I hope that he will deliver our next baby when we are ready for another as well.
