Creatures Of Yoga

Yoga Instructor

When Sarah, Creatures of Yoga's founder, was first introduced to the world of yoga, it was simply to fulfill an extracurricular college credit, but its physical and mental benefits soon led to personal fulfillment, inspiring Sarah to pursue a career sharing her newfound passion with others. During the Hatha-based sessions, Sarah - now a certified instructor - teaches students a series of postures, each held for 1 to 2 minutes, to help muscles sink into deep stretches while the brain takes a break for commercial as she adjusts each student accordingly. Limited to around 15 pupils, the classes' small size ensures personalized attention, and the classroom setting makes learning fun so students are never afraid to ask questions as they push their bodies safely to the edge while executing proper form and technique of the poses. The classes may not be super zen, but you will always leave feeling accomplished. Read more

    Best place to practice yoga!

A month ago I was looking for a place where I can learn how to practice real yoga. I had never took classes before, so I really wanted a place where can I feel conformable asking and not awkward of not knowing the poses.

... If you are beginner and you are afraid of not knowing yoga, this is the place. If you think you are a yoga master, this is also the place for you.

Creatures of Yoga is the best place, give it a try!

Small space so small class which I LOVE. I just got into yoga in the last twelve months and I've only done it at one other studio. I like that studio but I did things with Sarah that I didn't know I could do and some stuff I've never done before. Because the class is small she has the chance to really focus on your form and make sure you are in the correct position. With flow classes I would sometimes feel like I couldn't keep up or get positioned the right way. Sarah also worked on proper breathing techniques with me. It made staying in position so much more enjoyable. ...

This ain't no candle light, soft music, smells like little India kinda place. Nope - this is you're going to learn the poses from the very beginning and you're going to take baby steps until you are ready to move deeper! Sarah will stop you if you cheat - oh yes - she'll call you out! Even as someone who has practiced for a long time (inconsistently) - Sarah is great about really showing you the pose, helping you move in and out correctly, even adjusting you when you need it. ... It is great and I've had lots of instructors! I would recommend this to anyone what was interested in or has been doing yoga!
