  I hired Emily after being served court papers from my child's father who hadn't been around in 6 years and all of a sudden wanted joint custody. Emily listened while I explained my situation to her, she then took matters into her own hands and made this horrible process seem so simple. I did nothing, but followed her directions ( be polite and document everything ). With all of Emily's help I won that battle and he was not granted joint custody & he was order to pay child support as well and that's not why we initially went to court. Emily is GREAT at what she does and without her I'm not sure how that situation would've turned out. Anytime anyone asks me if I know a good attorney I always refer them to her. I'd hire her again without a doubt!

  Emily Cooper represented me in a post divorce custody case issue. She was helpful, knowledgable, reliable, and knew how to navigate through the legal system. (And we won!)
