For anyone who is faced with the reality that a bankruptcy or even a second bankruptcy may be your fate, you know it’s not an easy conclusion or decision. There are many questions along with the complexity of emotions. The most important question I faced was could I find an attorney that I could trust? After having been referred to and meeting with Robertson B. Cohen, Esq. (Rob) with Cohen & Cohen, P.C., I realized he was the attorney I wanted to represent me. Never feeling pressured, Rob clearly explained my options, what to expect and what my responsibility would be to best facilitate the process. Had a problem with a bankruptcy from 6 years previous and the lawyer that i had used in this case was no longer available.

I went in for a consultation with with Rob to see if there was anything that his office could do.
Rob was straight to the point and didn't pull any punches, It was not the answer i was looking or hoping for but it was the correct, legal one that let me know where I stood on this matter.
If I am ever need of these kinds of legal services or know of someone that does I will recommend this office. -

As a mortgage banker, I am not always able to say my experiences in working with attorneys is a positive one. Especially when they are a bankruptcy attorney. However, Rob is a substantially different case than most. Our mutual client had worked with Rob on a bankruptcy SEVEN years ago. When my client e-mailed Rob, not only did he know who she was, he asked her how things were going and took the time to catch up with a past client. We needed Rob's help with something that was an unconventional request to help our client qualify for a home. Not to mention, this was not in his job description (unless he were to be paid for the work rendered). Rob understood the situation and took time out of his work day to make sure his past client was taken care of. He could have charged my client for the work rendered if he wanted to and no one could have said a word. But the fact that this man did everything by the book and out of a sincere willingness to help someone in need, speaks volumes about the way he runs his business and takes care of his people. If you want to find a bankruptcy attorney that has your best interest at heart instead of theirs, you would be foolish to go to anyone besides Robertson C****. The man is a five star professional and I will be referring my personal client business his way. I can assure you of that.
