My home seat from home. My urban place of solace from the weekly grind. Great facility, great setters, amazing community.

Nulu does a great job keeping the routes current and changing often. It's where the best climbers in the city climb, but they are welcoming to newcomers and it doesn't feel snobby. It's a great environment to climb in. I'm missing out because I just broke my ankle in a trad climbing accident and can't climb for 6 weeks!

I've probably been to around 40 different rock climbing gyms in the US, Canada and Europe. Climb Nulu is definitely up there as one of the best bouldering gyms out there. Routes are creative, well maintained, changed often and also spread from V2 to around V10 for all levels of climbers. Rating is consistent and if anything slightly more challenging then perhaps the average US gym, starting around V4. Introductory-level routes are slightly easier then average, most likely in order to got more people into climbing and give them a little confidence, which fwiw I see as a plus. The route-setters each have very different styles, from long and reachy to compact and core-based so there's good variety. Nice staff too.

Hands down the most friendly and passionate gym staff I've ever interacted with. They are very good about setting new problems often enough to keep it fresh without doing it so often that you can't project. They also have worked hard to offer a wide variety of extra services to let us workout, do yoga, and develop our overall fitness, not just climbing. Although I don't utilize this, they are also really encouraging and work with young climbers to foster a growing climbing community.

We went to climb for the first time today. Not only were we welcomed into a women's climbing group, but everyone was so nice and supportive! We learned so much, and I felt like the group really cared if we made it to the top, and wanted to see us succeed even if it meant they climbed a little slower. I would totally recommend this experience to anyone including a newbie like us! Definitely coming back! Big thanks to the ladies climbing group, you all were wonderful!

Went with our family of 6. Kids age range from 14 to 5. They all had a blast. There are not too many places that can entertain all of them at once. We will definitely return again.
