Paula is an experienced PROMPT level II therapist. Additionally, she is trained in the following methods of treating apraxia, articulation disorders, and oral motor challenges: Beckman, Kaufman, and Rosenfeld-Johnson.Working with many children who are non-verbal or minimally verbal spurred Paula to develop expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication. She is a founding member and past president of the Northwest Augmentative Communication Society and a current member of ASHA's special interest division on Augmentative and Alternative Communication. At CLASS, Inc., Paula provides both diagnostic assessments and therapy for children who benefit from picture boards, PECS, and computerized speech generating devices. Read more

    CLASS, Inc. worked wonders with our son. He was having a hard time with pre-school, and we were fearful of how he was going to do in Kindergarten. CLASS, Inc. jumped right in, and our son's progress this past year has been phenomenal. CLASS, inc.is 150% invested in the children they work with, and is exceptionally skilled in their work.

    Love the therapists! My Linky has been making great gains! Very caring and knowledgeable staff. I love listening to the interactions with all the different children. Every child is respected and given a safe place to grow.

    Couldn't be happier! The therapists are amazing! They are kind, genuine, talented and knowledgeable. They clearly love what they do and love working at CLASS, Inc. It is a fun environment. My son was non-verbal when he started working with CLASS, Inc. They worked with him on his speech while also teaching him how to use an ipad app to communicate. His frustration went from 99 to 10 almost immediately! Now, just one short year later, he is completely understandable almost all of the time and never uses that iPad. We re so very happy. More importantly, so is he!
