Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an energetic, powerful medical practice used for over 5000 years to effectively restore and maintain health and vitality.

Whether you are experiencing challenges with physical pain, dis-ease or emotional stress, Chinese medicine sees these as blockages of the flow of our vital energy (Qi) through the acupuncture channels (meridians) in our body. Understanding the principals of Yin & Yang, as well as the 5 Elements, your acupuncturist works to release blockages and stimulate your body’s innate ability to self- regulate and heal so that you can move on to be the best person you can. This place is amazing, I can feel the difference after a session. I practically skipped out of there today because I can't remember the last time I was not in constant pain without medication. Great environment and very skilled. I am a very happy patient.

I came to City Acupuncture on the recommendation of a family member who had been visiting Seth for her acupuncture for anxiety and I had seen it work WONDERS for her in a matter of 2 or so weeks and thought I would give it a try. My experience has been just as great. I have needed help with headaches due to barometric pressure changes, a ridiculous amount of tension in my shoulders, neck and jaw, as well as allergies (contact and otherwise). I really can't say enough good things about Seth and my experience here the past month. In my experience I have been thoughtfully listened to, closely attended and overall healed from my time working with Seth. ...

I had a really nice experience with JoseLo at my first visit to City Acupuncture today. I am actually trained as an acupuncturist (thought not currently practicing), so I am very particular about who I will be treated by. Jose was warm and kind. I really liked the set up of the room for a community space. The room was set up with actual treatment tables (instead of zero gravity loungers) so the experience was more traditional and quite comfortable. He was able to access more points, and the way the tables are arranged I actually had the experience of feeling like my treatment space was private despite being in an open room. I felt really amazing after my treatment and was very grateful to have such as rich experience at an affordable price. Also, JoseLo was trained by Jeffrey Yuen who is very highly regarded in our field. I am really looking forward to continuing treatment at City Acupuncture.

I'm a repeat user of acupuncture and have been to many acupuncturists over the years - they offer a great value and give good treatments and personal treatment here. I'd recommend this place!!

(For anyone who's new to acupuncture, keep in mind that it's only as effective as what you put into it, mainly including what share with the acupuncturist.)

I have had issues with tight and knotted muscles in my neck and back for several years. I've tried massage therapy, a chiropractor and sports massage and although I might get relief for a few days, the pain always returned.
At my last appointment with Joselo, he performed the Gua Sha skin rubbing technique on me. I cannot tell you what a relief it was to wake up pain free every morning since.
