  Highly recommend Chicago Dance. It's a fun, friendly atmosphere with instructors who have great energy. We've tried a few different places for tango lessons and Chicago Dance is by far the best. Take a class with Heather if you're unsure. She choreographed a tango for me and my husband for our wedding. It was a beautiful dance, a total crowd pleaser -- and learning it was by for the most fun thing we did in the whole wedding planning process. Heather really makes the experience enjoyable. We are now regulars at the group classes and have enjoyed every class we've tried. Chicago Dance has a very welcoming environment - perfect for learning some new moves.

  My honey and I took some lessons at other studios, but we entered another world when we met Steve and Get on the Floor. He has a great way of communicating about dance. His teaching is geared to the learning style of the people he is with. So I have to know the sequence of steps verbally, and my partner's different learning style means she has to feel the movements.
  We made progress a lot quicker than before. And felt a sense of mastery and grace in movement that we did not expect.

  I started dancing at Chicago Dance in April and haven't stopped since! I've really enjoyed my dance experience there. I started with East coast swing and continued with West coast swing with Jeff. Nice location, friendly staff and, most importantly, great instructor. Jeff is very professional and makes sure to take into account each student's needs while managing a group class. Chicago Dance only offers two levels (beginners and intermediate), but repeating the intermediate class twice or more never felt boring, since Jeff helped me work to improve my level every time adding new fun variations and details.

  My Husband and I took 4 classes with Stan to prepare for our wedding. Stan was incredible. He made us feel comfortable and really worked on proper form with us. At the day of our wedding we felt confident that we wouldn't humiliate ourselves. Our wedding was 8/6/16 and we did our sessions in Mid July

  We had a great experience working with Sasha for our wedding! Sasha was wonderful at tailoring the dance to our personalities and abilities, and teaching us techniques/fundamentals of dancing that made the first dance look natural, and which we could use beyond just the choreography. Highly recommended!
