  My (now) wife and I signed up for a Groupon for three private lessons to prepare for our wedding. We took those lessons with Ellen and were really pleased with the experience. We're not great dancers but wanted to do a salsa dance at our wedding. Ellen was a wonderful instructor. She jumped right in and even though our skill level wasn't great she worked with us to prepare a fun and doable routine. In just three one hour lessons she had us ready to go. She was kind, supportive and practical, and really made us believe we could do it, which wasn't easy! We're still not the best dancers, but thanks to Ellen we had a great time dancing at our wedding.

  We love Chevy Chase Ballroom! We looked around and tried several places for dance classes, but CCB is the best. They can teach everything from beginner to intermediate to national champions. Some people here have been in Dancing with the Stars. Yet beginners are warmly welcome. You can start knowing nothing and keep going as high as you want in the same studio. Teachers have a deep love of dance and music which they share. The owner, Irina, keeps high professional standards and creates a warm, welcoming dance family. My husband was reluctant to dance at first but they make dancing easy and fun so even he now looks forward to classes and the monthly "social" dance party. It's great exercise year round. Come join the fun!

  Chevy Chase Ballroom is exceptional in terms of their dancing program. The atmosphere is friendly, fun, and inviting. Inviting to dance at every level, every style of dance. Dmitriy is very patient and thorough in terms of technique, style and grace. He is a very inspiring instructor. I would recommend Chevy Chase Ballroom to all levels of ballroom dancers, especially to the novice who never danced a step. In no time, you will be gracefully dancing on the dance floor like Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers--really!

  Chevy Chase Ballroom is a great place for beginners, professionals, and anyone looking for a specialty dance. I recently moved to DC and was looking around for a dance studio to help with a professionally-choreographed surprise first dance (waltz and salsa) for my wedding. I am a former competitive figure skater and dancer and we wanted something super fun for our wedding.
  
  Chevy Chase is the best in the area hands down. We tried other studios, but didn't find anyone with the kind of high standard of dance experience we were looking for.
  
  Garry is fantastic and so are all the other teachers. They are very warm and inviting and have truly created a dancing family. We are now thinking of continuing to dance together post wedding!
  
  Highly recommend!!!
