Chengzhang Shi,CMD,L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 20 years. Cheng is a third generation practitioner of TCM. He began his earliest training in his childhood under the tutelage of his father, a renowned TCM professor in Beijing. He was later trained in medical school in China and graduate school in acupuncture in the United States.
Through many years of training and practice,Cheng has gained skills in making accurate diagnoses using four traditional examination methods. This enables him to determine the cause and origin of a problem, and achieve good results in treatment. He's the real deal! We are lucky to have Dr. Chang in Baltimore. I would drive afar to get treatments with him. He's very kind, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. Everything is clean and all new, unopened needles. I'm finally getting my health back.

Dr. Cheng is an amazing acupuncurist. I came into to his office with a rotator cuff injury and was in tremendous pain. I was also unable to raise my arm either forward or backwards. After just one treatment, I was able to raise my arm at shoulder height and the pain I had was lessened tremendously and I was able to get relief that I could not get from traditional Western medicine professionals who could do nothing for me except prescribe pain medications with intense side effects that did nothing to help me heal my rotator cuff. After my second treatment, I had more range of motion and the pain lessened even more. I am looking forward to another session.

Dr. Chengzhang is an excellent acupuncturist and herbalist. He has treated me for several different things over the past 5 years including improving my sleep, back pain, and anxiety. Dr. Cheng individualizes to treat specific needs each visit. I always feel better after a treatment. Dr. Cheng is very intuitive and can often see the root cause of problems and will help with problems that weren't seen before. He is also one of the most caring and professional doctors I have ever seen. I highly recommend his practice.

Cheng is a caring professional who truly believes in the power of his craft to heal. Acupuncturists seem to be on every street corner theses days, but Cheng is definitely a breed apart. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Chengzhang Shi is AMAZING!!! He has helped me in so many ways from issues with sleep, mood, stress,etc. If I miss an appointment, I feel "off". I also get neck spasms a few times a year that are very painful and he is able (without drugs) to make the spasm and pain decrease immediately and then go away completely. He really cares about his patients and takes the time to really hear any concerns you may be having. He really takes into account the "whole" you. I would never go to another acupuncturist!
