Cheng-Ming Chang started the practice in 1980. He was one of only two acupuncturists to open a clinic in San Antonio. He was also one of the first acupuncturists to be elected to the first Texas Board of Acupuncture Examiners. His experience has led to numerous features in the Express-News. His 28 years of clinical experience includes the treatment of infertility, pain and stress management, eczema, paralysis, rhinitis, migraines and gynecological problems.
Joe C. Chang is a second-generation acupuncturist. He earned his master's degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He is a diplomat in oriental medicine and is certified by the Texas Medical Board. His clinical experience includes pain management, adjunctive acupuncture treatments with IVF and chemotherapy, as well as other medical ailments that include migraines, stroke paralysis and allergic rhinitis.     Where do I even begin??! First, let me just say I have been doing acupuncture for 8 years. I started when I was a junior in high school and had severe digestion issues-so bad I literally stopped eating and basically gave up on life. I became very depressed and lost about 30 lbs. I turned to Western medicine first, seeing different gastroenterologists, in which I had different blood tests, x-rays, etc. I was told I had "IBS" and would have to live with it. Let me tell you, eating fruit and having diarrhea 10 times because of it when you are 17 years old is not something you are just going to "live with." ...

    Dr. Chang is a really great acupuncturist. I've been in the past for back issues (my back went out) and another time when I had a really bad reaction to a supplement I took and my body went completely out of whack. He helped me both times when traditional medicine didn't help. ...
