  Chanda met us at the hospital the day after our daughter was born (on her own child's birthday, no less) for a fresh48 session, and the pictures are AMAZING! She was so flexible, patient, professional, skilled, and kind, and it made the experience just wonderful. She was great with our little one and put us all at ease during a stressful time. She was open to all ideas that we had, and came up with even better ones for us. The pictures were ready just a few days after the session, and they're more than we could have ever asked for. We're so grateful to her for perfectly capturing this special time for us, and giving us memories that we can hang onto forever. I was hesitant to have someone take pictures of us in the hospital, thinking maybe we'd look unkempt or that I could take a similar quality of picture, but I was wrong -- Chanda is awesome and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thanks Chanda!

  Chanda was indispensible in the months leading up to the birth, during labor itself, and afterward. Without being pushy, she provided crucial guidance as I pondered changing OBs in my third trimester. She was able to draw upon and share her previous experiences of various Atlanta-based OBs and hospitals. She also pointed me toward a prenatal yoga instructor that greatly improved my well-being in those months. During my long, difficult labor, Chanda was a reassuring, guiding, and calm presence. She instructed my husband on pain-relieving measures, and together they helped me through contractions in various positions. Chanda also served as our birth photographer. I had initially been uncertain whether the photographs would be necessary, but I can now say that they are a most precious record of a deeply moving event. Chanda has an excellent eye and an unobtrusive manner, such that the entire birth story unfolds completely and organically. I am entirely grateful to her for capturing the birth with such sympathy and lyricism. I would not hesitate to recommend Chanda's doula and photography services to any and all.

  Chanda brought a calmingly, beautiful energy to our birth. She was so much more than we could've asked for in a doula and a birth photographer. She helped create and foster a space where my husband and I could easily and lovingly focus on one another as we brought our new child into this world. We would highly recommend her to anyone, and will always be thankful for her gracefulness and love.

  Working with Chanda was such a wonderful experience. Even though things weren't exactly as planned, she helped my husband and I stay calm and helped guide us through the whole process. She was calm, warm, and encouraging throughout the entire labor. She arrived at my home when I was ready for her and stayed with us until my son was delivered and we were all OK. She took the most beautiful photographs of the entire event without us really even knowing she was doing it. I would definitely recommend Chanda for your birth and look forward to having her at our next birth.
