This dance studio teaches the dedicatation and technique needed to be a dancer and trains them classically following a strict vagonova regime. It is difficult to find such serious studios like this in the sacramento area. It is truly a gem in a sea of mediocracy. The teachers are extremely knowlegeable and bring a great energy to the classroom. If you are serious about dancing this is the place to go. My technique has improved tremendously in the short amount of time i have been here. The small class sizes really allow the teachers to focus on each dancer individually and helps them progress quickly. This studio is an amazingand and very professional.

This studio is the best if you want to be a professional! I've only been here for 3-4 months and I have improved and grown so much! I went from barely being able to do one Piroutte, to being able to do 3, almost 4! This studio more than pays for itself! But if you are, then you really need to get over here! They teach etiquette and the appearance of the students are uniformed and groomed, but the teachers also want the best for their students!. I repeat this studio is the place to go if you really want to pursue dance as a career, the teachers really know their stuff!

We are so impressed with the quality of instruction that our daughters receive at CCDA. While the name "Capitol City Dance Academy" may sound intimidating, the environment is warm and friendly, yet still very structured. The instructors are demanding, yet able to bring out the best in their students in a positive way. This is a real dance academy giving them a real dance education, unlike many other studios in town that tend to be more recreational. The studio is young and growing and our daughters were warmly welcomed not only by the staff, but other students as well. We are very happy with CCDA.

This is the 3rd studio my daughter has danced at, and she went from taking 2 classes a week to taking 8 classes a week. She has never wanted to do that at any other studio, in fact I would usually hear "I don't want to go today." This studio is amazing and because the teachers are so amazing the girls in the classes progress very quickly. my favorite part is there is no drama here.

My experience at Capitol City Dance Academy (CCDA) has been the best from day one. Of course I have done research about this studio and other studios, but honestly this is the place that caught my attention the most. I've been taking classes since December 2015 and this place has become my second home. The discipline on myself became stronger compared to how I was before I came into CCDA. Miss Reese pushes her students very hard to become better dancers with the correct technique of the Vaganova method. She knows exactly what she is doing and is very strict with the technique and is also strict with how things are ran at CCDA. Dress code is always enforced and she teaches the students proper classroom etiquette. Taking classes at CCDA has made me love dance even more and they make me excited about becoming a better dancer!

This is exactly what Natomas needed. no matter how old I get (20 y/o), I know I want to be representing CCDA as long as I can :)
