My granddaughter attends this school and I love it. Affirming of each child's individuality, play spaces are diverse and encourage creative, exploratory play. I wish my children could have attended a school such as this!

CRCC is absolutely amazing! My daughter currently attends and we have our son on the list to start when he turns 2 y/o. My only wish was that they had an infant/young toddler program so they could start before 2 y/o. The teachers are highly communicative with parents, and firm but loving with the kids. I couldn't ask for more in a pre-school; the kids thrive here!

After experiencing 3 different pre-school models through the years this is the most amazing place I've found. I see my child thriving! Everything from the homey feel to the songs they sing to get the kids in line (instead of barking orders) is exactly what tiny people need to grow and learn in a loving atmosphere. Hiking, bike days and walks through the neighborhood are only the tip of the iceberg. I wish this school model continued into elementary.

I visited Canyon Rim Children's Center as part of a college course studying early childhood programs. I am a big fan of the Reggio Emilia approach, which makes parents, teachers and children equal partners in learning. At CRCC, the children exemplify the benefits of this philosophy. ...

Great play-based preschool. Students are supported and inspired to explore and create everyday in a loving atmosphere. If you want a traditional skills based instructional program than this is not the place for you. If you want your child to come home with paint on their hands and a smile on their face and tell you about holding and asking questions about worms in the class garden, then this is your place.
