Wow, we had a huge tree overhanging our apartment back yard. Contacted Clement through yelp and got a callback within an hour. He estimated the job using photos we sent him, was very reasonably priced, and called us when another client changed their plans so got the job done on time, on budget, a week ahead of schedule! When Clement was onsite, he was courteous, knowledgeable and quick! Great service and I will use him again for any garden services we might need! Highly recommended!!

I hired Martha to help me fix my backyard- overfilled with plants, weeds and invasive bamboo, I thought it was an impossible task....Martha assured me that it can be done, and she absolutely delivered! On top of being patient, talented, knowledgeable, and wonderful, she is also armed with some rad referrals: she directed me to really great contractors to help me bring my vision to reality. Martha is efficient, honest, reliable (comes when she says she will), revises the plans for my ever changing mind (did I mention PATIENT?!), and has respected my budget. ...

Found Chris on Yelp and the reviews are accurate. He is excellent. He cares about his work and always wants to make sure that the customer is getting exactly what they want, he also happens to be a great guy. He redid our yard, installed sod and an irrigation system and he was fantastic. He gets quality materials and had to lug everything through the house. He prepped the house well and was excellent in keeping everything clean and neat. I cannot recommend him more highly.

John and Anne from Design by Plants, and their team, are a delight to work with. We recently hired them to help clean up and shape a long overdue backlog of overgrown shrubs, bushes, and weeds in our Prospect Heights backyard. The before and after is astounding, and the yard now looks very clean, structured, and well taken care of. They also allowed us to work side-by-side with them, so that we could learn the how-to of pruning and shaping various areas of the garden and can do it ourselves in the future. Their prices are reasonable and they are very knowledgeable as well as pleasant.

We have a small backyard in Greenpoint and it needed considerable work. In addition to the landscaping work, we opted for an good irrigation system. We had another landscape company come by but really liked Evan when he came to provide us an estimate. We just felt how genuine he was and how passionate he was about his work. I really appreciated how hard his team worked on customizing everything to our needs. We have a small cat which likes to escape and explore our neighbor's adjacent yard, and Evan was so accommodating in trying to customize a barrier for our cat. ...

James and his crew did the most amazing job of transforming an ugly yard that started with debris, uneven ground, broken and shifted pavers into a beautiful space. They performed a perfect job for everything, from clearing the mess that was there before, leveling the ground, to setting down new pavers, building planters and fencing, planting a garden, and laying down gravel. Everything they did was of excellent quality and will obviously last for years and years. His crew was hard working, earnest, trustworthy, very respectful of my home and fair when it came to finances. They were flexible in coming up with solutions to unexpected issues that came up. I can't recommend sparkles enough.
