I did a few months of preparation, decided to quit my kitchen job in Baltimore and move to Austin, TX. To my surprise, Austin is thriving with like minded, eco-conscious people who are as excited about the movement as I am! As they say...”I’m not from Austin, but I got here as soon as I could!”
Making somebody feel at home, at ease, inspired and productive is my goal in this business. Art to me is conjuring a feeling, and these are the feelings I strive to bring out of people.

Great guy. Honest, fair and a great person to do business with. I live in California and own a house in Austin, TX, which I rent. Nick is my go-to guy for anything that I need with the house. He is clear in communication, promptly finishes the job, and always does a fabulous job. He is not just great at painting but is good at all handyman work too. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Brush & Color Eco Painting! Nick did a great job repairing and painting our walls. He is very conscientious and showed up when he said he would. I feel like he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I also very much appreciate his commitment to using eco-friendly products. On top of all of that,he is pleasant to be around - important when you're inviting people into your home.

Nick transformed our space. We hired his company to paint a challenging space in our house (a stairway, hall and landing with 18 foot ceilings and a recessed skylight) and he did an incredible job. I run a green business myself, and I was impressed with Nick's level of knowledge as well as his passion for green painting-- for example, he drove WAY out of his way to get a more eco-friendly varnish for my banisters. The quality of his work is excellent, he answered all my questions, and I am extremely pleased with the result. I recommend him to all my friends.

Nick is professional and very passionate about what he does. Every step is carefully planned and conscious of the time, resources, and vision involved in his projects. I've been able to see the step-by-step progress of some of his interior work at Dooby's cafe, and the space feels cleaner, sharper, brighter, and more modern. His mindfulness of the environment in an industry that can generate a lot of waste is inspiring.
