Dr. Doug is super kind and knowledgeable - he explained the results of my Optomap to me in detail, and I didn't feel rushed through my appointment like I have at other optometrists. Definitely a neighborhood gem - I'll be back next year for sure!

Dr. Anania is awesome. He's friendly and devotes a lot of time with you during your visit. Be sure to do his macula diagnostic. I'm a coder and didn't realize how much harmful blue light I was absorbing from my laptop.

I recently was looking for a new eye doctor and came across BFE. Scheduling an appt was quick and easy. The appt itself was great, everything was done quickly and efficiently. Dr Doug Anania was extremely helpful and informative throughout the exam and was able to put me in a better and more comfortable contact lens than I was previously wearing. I would recommend using this practice to anyone who is looking and even those where weren't! Great addition to the neighborhood!

I just moved to the Atlanta/Brookhaven area and randomly picked this office due to the location. I'm so glad I found them! ... Scheduling an appointment over the phone was easy. ... They send you reminder texts the day before your appointment. The employees in the front lobby were welcoming and very helpful explaining how everything worked and what costs my insurance covered along with my options. The optometrist was friendly and professional, and he was understanding of my personal needs/situation. ... The pricing seemed very fair. I will be back and would definitely recommend this office!

Dr. Douglas Anania just opened Brookleigh Family Eyecare in December. He has been practicing for over 13 years and has a highly experienced and friendly staff. They have a great selection of designer frames and sunglasses too 🕶 I highly recommend you contact them for your future eye care needs. Best in Brookhaven!
