Broadway Vision Source

Optometry

Broadway Vision Source was established in 1983, and originally located on Broadway across from Dick’s Drive-In in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. We’ve kept the name “Broadway” because of this. Foreseeing demolition of the building that we were in to make way for Sound Transit’s LinkRail Station on Broadway, we relocated to our present location on East Pike St. in 1999.

Our eye care team of optometric physicians, opticians, and ophthalmic technicians embraces the spirit of caring and giving back to our community. We are humbled by the loyalty of our patients and share a mutual respect of our colleagues in and around the Seattle area. BVS has grown to become one the largest optometric practices in Seattle founded upon our dedication to providing excellence in comprehensive, personalized vision care. Read more

I've been a patron of BVS and a patient of Dr. Matsunami for roughly 20 years. Need I say more. Competitive pricing, exceptional customer service, wide selection, and a staff member with an uncanny ability to pair you with the frames that compliment and suit you. Thanks Warren! I'd be remiss to neglect mentioning the indelible and recently retired Sandra for years of extraordinary customer service upon walking through BVS doors year after year.

Just had my eyes checked here, and I highly recommend this place. I saw Dr. LeClaire, and she was so informative and friendly. I trusted her right away. Then John helped me try on frames, and he was so pleasant and seemed to know what would and wouldn't work. He encouraged me to go with something fun and with a little flare. I'm planning on going back to purchase my frames from them.

… I've never seen anyone other than Dr. Nakatsu for my eyes, so I'll start there. I've been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old; eye doctors are not new to my life. Riley is friendly and approachable, and easily puts things in layman's terms. ...

… This group of gentlemen are patient, kind and VERY good at what they do. My benefits have always been explained clearly to me, and in some cases, my perception of my benefits were improved by the opticians at BVS. …

A+, gold stars, throw some other accolades on here as well. LOVE Broadway Vision Source and everything they've provided and helped me with over the years.

Okay I'm going to give him a great review because they were super nice to me even though I wasn't even a customer which is the best kind of customer service. Because they weren't getting any business. I brought in my glasses with a nose pad that had fallen off and I just expected them to give me the will one screw that I was missing. But they put both nose pads back on at no charge when another store was going to make a big fuss and cause me money for what I just needed was a $0.25 screw. Pardon any typos I'm dictating to my phone! Thanks guys.

I started seeing Dr. LeClaire when she was working at Costco in Tukwila at least 9 years ago. From the start she exceeded all of my expectations. She is very thorough, explains everything so it is easily understood, follows through on referrals and her personality--well bubbly, outgoing, compassionate, understanding, I could go on and on. So when I knew she would only be in Seattle, I followed her there. Creshonna who did the eye testing was tops!! Office staff great!
