  I went there with my macbook after a visit to simplyMac where they told they'd charge me at least $300 to repair my computer(apparently the charging port was broken) . Peter the owner was extremely helpful in helping me figuring out what was wrong with my mac, he cleaned the charging port, fiddled with the command a little bit and there you go my computer was on again. He was great at explaining the issue my computer had since it had no battery & advised me to buy an authentic Apple battery instead of the trade off ones on eBay/Amazon. Plus, HE DIDN'T CHARGE ME A DIME FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC ! . I definitely recommend his services & will definitely come back if I ever have a computer problem.

  Recently returned from a trip to New York. Not sure if the computer was dropped or if they fiddled with it at airport security, regardless the computer was crashing immediately thereafter. A quick call to Bolt informed me the hard drive was dying and to shut if down right away if I cared about preserving my data. As this was my work laptop, I complied and headed over to visit Peter at Bolt right away. He assured me everything would be done to first preserve my most important data and then to clone or image the drive and mount it onto a new one. A new fancier whiz bang drive with double the storage at that! Peter at Bolt was also kind enough to loan me a laptop to use at work whilst mine was being serviced. I picked up my laptop a few hours later and now it works like new again, all for a fraction of what it would have cost me to purchase a new one. Thank you Peter and the team at Bolt Computer Services for coming through when I needed you most! Will highly recommend to others in similar need.

  The world would be a better place if businesses ran like Peter runs Bolt Computer Services. Friendly, engaging, transparent, and fair. When my Macbook Air bit the dust unexpectedly i took it to him after a predictably-unhelpful visit to the genius store. Peter explored different avenues as to why the computer was failing, ordered parts and offered me a computer to use in the meantime while my laptop was being repaired. I will go back to him any time in the future that i need computer work done and have recommended him to any friends who wish to do the same.

  It's six years I have been using Bolt Computer Services. Always very good experience. Last Thursday night (06/15/2017) my main server in restaurant failed. Around 09:00 PM I called Peter. In very short amount of time he was in my restaurant and he spend over an hour to repair it. In the end he took the computer to work on it over night.
  Cut the story short, I got POS server back better than what it was just after lunch.

  I fully encourage anyone to avail of Bolt services. Peter is a very professional and nice person who really helped me with my Mac problem. He saved me over $700 on my repair and gave me great advise. Without ethical business people such as him we would all be at the mercy of the exploitation of Mac when they choose not to guarantee their products. Thank you so much Bolt!!
