Went rock climbing with a friend for my first time, the staff was excellent to make sure I was comfortable and safe, great one on one training to use the equipment. Super fun

Malek puts all his free time into this gym, making new routes and ensuring that all members and guests are well taken care of. He has built an amazing community for climbers of all skill levels in Kingston.

The Boiler Room is a climbing gym located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The current owner, Malek Taleb, has done wonders to transform the gym since he purchased it in 2010. It is the main climbing hub for the city, with great setting and an awesome atmosphere, offering, ropes, bouldering, and special competitions and events.

Amazing community of climbers. If you are just starting out, curious about rock climbing, or a seasoned climber, this gym offers a lot. Malek (owner and operator) and his team, set a wide range of problems - from cruisey to next to impossible.

The staff was amazing, very welcoming, knowledgeable! Patient when teaching you how to handle the ropes! We even had assistance from an awesome young man named Jacob! (Who is part of a Saturday program they have for children) He helped teach my 6 year old how to climb, and talked her through where to step. He was very encouraging and coached her on! And when she came down, he would high 5 her. I hope his parents see this and are proud of him! Thank you to all the wonderful and kind staff at the boiler room!!! Oh and thanks Jacob!
