  I hurt my back. Bad. Wasn't sure how and why. I've had massages before and knew that if they help, they only help for a bit. This place is SO much different. First, I have never been turned on my side for a massage, but this turned out to be the way to do it. I was actually able to move when I got up and Heather stopped everything to help me figure out why I got hurt and gave me stretches and advice to help correct it. The pain did come back after a bit like I expected, but now the pain is almost completely gone due to her advice and me doing the stretches. It may be a bit more expensive than your cheaper massages, but if you want you pain gone rather than stalled, come here and get the Advance Therapeutic. Note: They offer products and memberships, but never tried to get me to buy either. That, I really appreciate.

  This place is the definition of therapeutic massage. From the location to the ambiance. The massage therapists know what they are doing. They are genuine and caring and that makes such a difference. I love the way they run their establishment! I recommend Blue Monarch to anyone looking for a place to relax, reset and feel good.

  Visiting for the New Year and found a gem. The Blue Monarch is located in a small village, filled with cottages. I went in for soreness in my calves and hips from being an avid runner 25 miles+ per week. Heather was the therapist who worked on me, the atmosphere was soothing and i was able to loosen up instead of being tense.
  I left refreshed and educated on what i need to do to improve my body. Heather knows her trade, answered all my questions and even used laymans terms on request. The massage was fantastic, i felt more loose and was able to hit the road the following morning with no pain.
  Awesome establishment and i'll be back next time i'm in San Antonio.

  My therapist was Lydia, and she was amazing. Having had massages at a variety of places, she was one of the best. What I also really appreciated was the peacefulness and beauty of the facility. I have felt like a new person all day long! Go now! A great experience.

  This review is long over due. I have been going to Blue Monarch for massages since 2010. I have had several services here. Hot stone, aromatherapy, relaxation, therapeutic, prenatal & all have been amazing! Heather & Terri are the nicest people! My husband saw one of their new therapists, Lydia & said she was great as well! I highly recommend Blue Monarch Massage! You won't be disappointed!
