My wife and i have recieved our first box from Blue Apron and all I can say is wow! The ingredients are fresh and high quality, the recipes are easy to follow, and the food actually comes out exactly like it should. It's so nice to have at least three delicious meals a week that we can cook together and not have to shop for. The variety is fantastic and overall its a great value.

I received the following three meal cards; Crispy Catfish, Roast Turkey & Cranberry Sauce, and Italian Wedding Soup. The food came as scheduled, packaged nicely, and was at the proper temperature. The recipes were fun to follow and also tasted amazing! I have recommended this company to friends and family.

My wife and I just tried our first meal from Blue Apron, and we had a great time! They include almost everything you need to prepare a meal for two, with the tiny little exception of olive oil (but who doesn't have that lurking in their cupboard?)

The ingredients are all individually packaged and labeled and the recipe cards are clear and easy to understand, complete with photos of of what the end result is supposed to look like (we got close!)

For a beginning foodie, this is a great deal. Not only did we end up with a delicious meal, the whole process was thoroughly enjoyable. I got to spend time working in the kitchen with my wife, and I learned some new skills.

Blue Apron has really added convenience to my life, and in a fun way! I love getting the boxes in the mail, full of fresh food, and clear instructions on how to prepare the meals. The meals are very creative as well, and include all the kinds of foods I love to eat. The short videos they provide, are extremely helpful, such as how to take the leaves off of the Brussel sprouts, and how to cut the squash. It is causing to me eat foods that I know are great for me, but yet I almost never buy, such as squash. I feel like I am in a cooking class as I prepare the meals, and learn new ways and techniques to prepare foods. At first I signed up for vegetarian, but recently added some meat options, so I'm looking forward to this weeks menu. As a single person, I was struggling each week to figure out what I wanted to eat that week, now, I have a least 3 meals planned, which lasts me a long time since it serves 2 people. It seems like the leftovers are always more delicious I guess because the ingredients have had time to blend. Also, I love only receiving the exact amount of food I need to prepare the meals. Feels good to not have any waste. Anyway, highly recommend! Also, I live in Santa Fe, NM, and was pleased that they deliver to this area

Excellent, fresh produce with few blemishes. The recipes are reasonable to make in time and effort. Some are OUTSTANDING and others are okay, but NONE were less than okay. Given my somewhat picky palette, I'd say that is amazing. The service provided on-line and in timely deliveries is outstanding. I visited a friend out of state and had them ship my parcel there...it was flawless! If you don't want a delivery, it's easy to cancel. If you want to change your order, it's easy to do. They send you a reminder of a cancelled shipment so you can change your mind. If you haven't tried this service, I would encourage you to give them a try. Most meals freeze well so if you are solo, they'll last. The only downside is the amount of plastic used. They do have a 'recycling' option but...it's not optimal.

I've been using Blue Apron for two months and plan to continue. I'm in a situation where I have enough time to spend 45 minutes to an hour on preparing food, which is the amount of time you need. I had fallen into a rut of cooking a rotation of dishes that don't take long to make, but it was indeed a rut so I was open to a free trial. I was very happy with the quality of the ingredients and not having anything leftover. After I've eaten, I feel full (sometimes too full as I eat more than I usually do). Only once have I had a meal that I thought would not be sufficient for most two-person households.

Delivery has been reliable. I like the website. I kind of think of the cost this way: I would spend money on food anyway; it is making it possible for me to have cooking as a hobby; I don't like wandering around grocery stores looking for ingredients; and the dishes are nutritious. It's flexible enough that I don't have to take a delivery every single week. So it's worth it to me.

I especially like it when they have Asian dishes as I never cook Asian food and the carryout near me is not great. The vegetable list is kind of limited so far (root veggies, kale, collard greens) but it's fall/winter now; those are in season.

    So I'm a happy customer.
