Dr. Frieden and his wife have 3 sons: twin pre-schoolers and their younger brother. He enjoys spending free time with family and friends, traveling, and playing tennis.
Dr. Frieden was born and raised in Houston, Texas. While studying at the University of Pennsylvania, he had the opportunity to study abroad in France for 1 year. He became fluent in French while living in Paris. He is also fluent in Spanish, which he learned while treating patients in medical school and residency. Read more

Dr. Frieden is a fantastic practitioner. He blends the "old school" thought of an attentive, accessible and approachable practice with up-to-date ideals, technology and conversations. He's the best of both worlds. My father is an old school doctor, the kind that still does house calls, and they're a dying breed. Too many new practices, especially OB ones, are impersonal and have a revolving door of doctors you see who have to look at your chart to remember your name.

Seriously, best OBGYN in DFW! If you are looking for a new doctor, call Dr. Frieden now. He and his staff genuinely care about their patients. They go above and beyond. I can't say enough good things about him and his office.

Dr. Frieden delivered my daughter almost 6 years ago and I have been a patient ever since. He is absolutely amazing! He is very caring, down to earth and personable. Dr. Frieden is the only Doctor I have ever seen that calls me personally to go over treatment and procedures I am having done as well as a personal phone call to follow up. He has truly gone above and beyond to make sure that I receive the level of care and comfort that I need. It is so greatly appreciated. I have referred a few co workers to him and they love him too! Highly Recommended!

Take it from a woman that does NOT have easy pregnancies..... Dr Frieden, in my opinion, is THE BEST obstetrician in Dallas. Dr Frieden delivered my second child in Oct 2014, I'm pregnant with my third and I'm headed back to the ONLY obstetrician I have evvvvvver TRUSTED. Pregnant women, Dr Frieden, may not say what you want to hear at times; however, when I was in the OR for my cesarean section I bawled like a baby to see him because I TRUSTED HIM. I knew I was in the best of hands. He listens, is very intelligent, knowledgeable about most conditions (if not, he'll refer you to another trustworthy Doctor) and a contagious smile that goes on for days! ...
