All instructors are amazing and they are donation based. Very approachable in terms of what weaker areas to focus on in a class

They have a great ambience and their instructors really care about you and your physical growth. I also love they have online yoga practices available.

I live in Montana but work in Houston a lot. I always go to Black Swan when I am in town. They have a donation based drop in, which is nice now that so many studios are charging $20 or more for drop in. I did Lucas' 6am class this morning, and it was lovely. Good cuing, good sequencing, and he had a few new (for me) adjustments on old poses. Great studio.

This place is wonderful. It was an hour of forgetting the outside world and focusing on breathing and movement. I'm sore today because it had been a long time and my knee wasn't able to bend all the way that it needed to, but I did my thing and the Black Swan Yoga teacher was patient, encouraging, and kind. Loved it. Will go back.

I love doing yoga — drop in to practice at anywhere studios. BSY is a great studio. I love it! Had an awesome experience in the Flow class yesterday as my first time to come to the class. Wish I lived near by so I can come to practice yoga everyday here at BSY.

One year ago (June 16, 2017) I decided to walk into the BSY studio that I had been driving by each day to investigate the magnetic pull from within.
I had prepared well with a new yoga mat, fresh towels, some water...all that I thought I needed.
From the first step in the door I felt comfortable and welcomed. The energetic atmosphere, the chatter and musical vibe, the aromas and whirling sounds from Juiceland contributed to the excitement.
Now some 250 classes later, when I walk in regardless of which session or which instructor to guide the practice, which time of day or night, I feel safe and welcome.
Regardless of what the outside world has created, inside that Black Swan studio offers the solace necessary to reconnect with the physical, the mental and the emotional me each time. It's my Sanctuary and THAT has value!!
So, thank you to ALL the Instructors, the variety of other like minded yogi's I've gotten to know and to the volunteers at the desk that check us in and watch over us.
Here's to another year of BSY!

Cross posting his from Yelp because I feel they deserve the recognition: I'm probably not who you would guess to be the quintessential yoga patron. I had been going on/off for the past few years at LA Fitness and finally decided to give a studio a try. I had also never done a heated class. As a guy I was bit timid to go at first, but the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and the instructors have all made me feel comfortable. In terms of the class experience, I don't think I've sweat so much in any other workout aside from spin class. Sweatiness aside, I feel like I've gotten more out of it than all of the LA fitness classes I had been to. At this point I've been going once a week for several months and plan on sticking with them.
