I wanted to get a nice housewarming gift for some friends who live in Capital Hill. Jennifer, the owner of Black House, called me back and helped me figure out the perfect flower subscription to give as a gift. THEN on the first day of delivery, she sent me a photo of the bouquet she delivered them and let me know it had been delivered. The flowers are GORGEOUS!!! I have not seen a better bouquet for the price (except the amazing bouquets you can snag at Pike Place Market). I will continue to use Black House for all my flower needs in that area and highly recommend them to anyone.

Jen did the bouquets, boutonnières and the flower girl crown for our wedding. She was one of the best vendors that I have ever worked with--responsive, pleasant, detail-oriented and a great communicator. After my initial meeting with Jen I was confident that she would do a wonderful job on the flowers and she delivered. The venue manager even commented on how beautiful they turned out compared to other arrangements that she has seen. If you are looking for a florist I HIGHLY recommend Black House Flowers!

My wedding was this past weekend, and Jen did 100% of the decorations. The attention to detail and personal care she put into each piece was remarkable --- I was just in awe of her artistry and design ideas. The only thing I really contributed was the color palette and everything else came from her. Jen made the space incredibly beautiful and her designs perfectly fit our personality while highlighting the architectural detail of our venue. Not only was her vision impeccably beautiful, she is also just an awesome person to work with. She's warm and welcoming, creative, and clearly loves what she does and loves making special creations for her clients. I'm now trying to find more excuses to work with her :)

Jennifer is just simply amazing. She did the flowers for my wedding last week, and I was blown away with how she was able to turn what little vision I had into incredible flower arrangements. Not only is she so creative and talented, but she is also warm and easy to work with. She was responsive to my questions and requests, and seamlessly incorporated additional details into the overall style of my wedding. The flowers were easily one of my favorite things about my wedding and we received a ton of compliments on them also. I can't wait to move to Seattle and try her subscription service.
