Unlike so many snobby bike shops, these guys treat you with respect. They also ride the same trails I ride, so I know their recommendations are good.

They are great. I had issues finding a bike shop that would fix my bike in time for a race and they gave me a rental when it wasn't going to be done in time.

I've always been impressed with their patience and understanding around folks new to cycling, especially women who walk into the shop intimidated. These guys and gals are patient, thoughtful, and take the time to answer any question someone has, no matter how easy or complex. They're there for the love of the sport - not just to make a buck, and that's what keeps me coming back.

They make me feel like I am more than a customer; they are honest, do great work, and always a great place to visit. I have bought a couple bikes from them and always get my bikes serviced there.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The owner, Brian, is usually available to talk about bikes, trails, rides etc. Great selection of bikes for all levels.

I have been a customer at Bike Doctor Frederick since it opened and have not purchased anything else from any other shop - the shop is that impressive! I have purchased numerous bikes from them and all related accessories for years. What sets them apart from everybody else is their superior customer service. They won't upsell or tell you some marketing speech. Excellent, honest help. They are the best, hands down.

I bought a bike off amazon and my father attempted to put together. The company I bought the bike from forgot to provide a manual and what we found online wasnt helpful. We took my bike into the Bike Doctor. The staff here are very personable and nice.

After they fixed my old Trek 900, I decided it was time to purchase a bigger and better bike. I returned to Bike Doctor because of the great quality selection and the incredible customer service. I'm just getting back into biking, and my inexperience in the hobby was not an issue at Bike Doctor. They were friendly and answered all my questions. Within about 45 minutes, AJ helped me find the perfect bike, an awesome red Trek 8.4 Dual Sport, that I could not be happier about. ...
