It's a store that provides products and excellent services (ski tuning). The employees have a genuine interest in your needs and don't just try to sell things. They offer their services at a fair/competitive price and do quality work.

Great service all around! I have gone to Bent Gate Mountaineering for years for many needs. They are very knowledgeable and honest with their recommendations. Top notch gear selection and the patience to give one on one customer service to educate the customer about the products and other options. In addition they often hold free educational community events regarding safety in the outdoors such as back country skiing and avalanche awareness.

A couple years ago I decided to purchase a back-country ski set-up on a whim. Bentgate Mountaineering really helped me find the best fit and hooked me up with a great, reliable package. They then tuned my gear and molded my boots to my foot. Would highly recommend!

Greg & staff are knowledgeable, polite, and extremely helpful. Been shopping at Bent Gate for a while now and they never cease to impress with the impeccable customer service, and extensive selection of high quality gear. Very glad to have a shop like this in the area, where REI & Wilderness Exchange always let me down, Bent Gate NEVER fails me :D

Great store, very friendly staff. I think its awesome that they let local interest groups host seminars downstairs. I came for a talk about weather forecasting and shopped around after if finished, they have some really great products and their sales are unbeatable!
