Originally started to see Dr. Peckham back in 2006. … We went to him primarily because he is one of the few exotic pet veterinarians in the area who has experience with reptiles. … His office is a No-Frills no-nonsense place but you get excellent service and somewhat less pricey than the service you get it the other veterinarians in the area. As you can guess from the fact that we've used him for 10 years we like him. … Robert his assistant for all these years is also fabulous and our dogs really like him. I recommend this veterinarian to everyone, except those who are snooty and require lot of frills.

Dr Peckham and his staff have cared for my pets for more than ten years now. His staff are friendly, gentle with the pets, and very helpful. While Dr Peckham is no-nonsense and can come off as gruff, he is exceptional when examining and caring for critters. He gently talks my skittish cat through the dreaded annual exam and is always teaching me something. He knows his stuff like no one else and doesn't push for expensive options unless they are necessary. I won't take my pets anywhere else!

Dr. Peckham is the best vet ever! I've never been to a better vet he truly cares about animals and their owners. I felt so comforted when I left there. All the other vets I've gone to have left me with many questions and uncertainty. But here I left confident knowing what my dog needs and confident knowing my dog has a vet who loves him.

Excellent care. We had taken our dog to two other vets, but hadn't received a clear diagnosis or treatment plan. Dr. Peckham thoroughly assessed and sensitively explained our dog's issue and treatment options. His staff are so attentive, calling daily to check in. Prices are very reasonable. This is a great vet clinic, a hidden gem in Bellaire.
