  One of my goals for 2020 was increasing visibility through workshops and Instagram posts, and although Canva is certainly a great starting tool, I realized I needed the support and expertise of a graphic designer to make that happen, rather than just changing the colors on the same templates everyone else is using.
  
  I am so thankful for Nikia's expertise, as she made some recommendations about an initial, flat rate package for her design services and quickly got to work ensuring the social media templates and powerpoint slides were cohesive with my existing branding.
  
  As an attorney for businesses, I like to think I'm creative with words, but I am certainly don't have an eye for design. I appreciated Nikia's professionalism and flexibility when it came to our communications re: the different types of templates I wanted, what content they would be used for, etc. You can take a peek at some of her design work here: https://www.instagram.com/herwitzlaw/ If you've tinkered around Canva, it will be quite obvious when the designs shifted from Canva's templates to Nikia's professional designs.
  
  Heading into Fall when I lead workshops for women entrepreneurs in various communities, I am thrilled to have a professionally designed powerpoint template to tweak for each of these events. What a difference from last year, when I was still trying to figure this out on my own. Well worth the investment if you're leveling up in your business -- or if you just want to get started in a better place than is possible on your own. I look forward to working with her again for future projects and have already referred a few of my clients and service providers to her.

  When I needed a logo for my business, I knew I wanted one that fit my personality while still being professional. Nikia created exactly what I was looking for in little time.
