Knowledgeable and friendly staff providing an excellent service. Always make time to talk through different options and take good care when fitting boots or sorting skis - nothing is too much trouble and sort any problems quickly often going above and beyond.

A collection of highly skilled, good - natured experts. All my experiences with Backcountry UK have been extremely positive. I live a long way away yet they're always helpful over the phone and always remember me. I have many closer shops but I always try to take my business to these guys and would recommend them to anyone.

Phil and Tom really know their stuff and their customer service, attention to detail (and patience!) are exceptional. I bought a full touring setup from them and had my own boots refitted and the entire package was significantly cheaper than anywhere else, including internet-only retailers. Highly recommended.
