Anchored by forward-thinking medical mentors, in 1987 he attended a course given by Professor Kurt Semm MD from the University of Kiel, Germany. Dr. Semm, a true pioneer of minimally invasive surgery, demonstrated how to remove fibroids, ovarian cysts, tubal pregnancies, endometriosis, perform hysterectomies, and more using a scope and small access ports rather than an open abdominal incision. He was inspired, and thus began his pursuit of excellence in gynecologic endoscopic surgery.
In 1995 he applied for, submitted cases, and received certification in Advanced Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Surgery from the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy(ACGE). Less than one percent of more than 38,000 OB/GYN trained physicians, at the time, in the United States are recognized, by the ACGE, for what is becoming known as Gynecologic Endoscopic Surgery(GES). ... From moment one, Dr. Moore drew his vast knowledge and experience to give me a more realistic opinion. In his cool, calm demeanor, he gave me facts, not some sparkly sales pitch. He answered every question and I never felt like my pain or experience with endo was ever undermined.

I found Dr Moore and this office after my last doctor Failed to provide quality care. I walked into their office crying and frustrated after my previous doctor cancelled on me for the third time despite being in severe pain and other conditions I won't mention. Dr Moore's office had me scheduled in less than a week and were so kind and understanding. Dr Moore treats his patients with respect and kindness that you would expect from a small town doctor. Not only is he kind he is a highly skilled surgeon. I would recommend his office to anyone needing general care to a hysterectomy.

I am not "Doctor friendly", even though I'm working on my doctor of dental surgery degree. That being said, I find it hard to find a good doctor nowadays, even though there is so much competition. Enter Dr. Eckberg, the sweetest, kindest gynecologist ever.

... Dr. Eckberg is extremely gentle. She has never hurt me and has always been very patient with my anxious personality. She always gives the best advice and truly looks out for your well being. They always write prescriptions swiftly and never over charge or do unnecessary work-a giant plus in my book.

Excellent surgeon! I had several doctors' opinions before I finally decided on having Dr. Moore perform my surgery for a hysterectomy. I am very satisfied with the results. Highly recommend him. I especially like his bookkeeper and his assistant, who happens to be his wife. Very pleasant office staff. I traveled a bit far to see him and have my surgery. There are many ob/gyns where I live, but not a gyn specialist in fibroids as Dr. Moore. He was was worth the drive!
