  It has taken me many years of searching in Austin but this Dentist is great! I see Dr. Fossum and although I usually don't mind the dentist and never get nervous or scared about dental work, I have never actually almost "enjoyed" it until now. I had to get a crown last week and Dr. Fossum had the most gentle touch. He kept me informed of what was happening and really put me at ease. It is also nice to get your teeth cleaned and not leave covered in gunk. I find that other dentists I've been to in the past had little concern for how much they splash you or get stuff all over your face. That has not happened here with the two hygienists I've seen. The front staff is also amazing. They listen to your concerns and are available for questions you may have. Hats off to this practice. Keep up the good work!

  Best dentist office I've ever been to. They take their time to do a good job. I never have more than a short wait. Everyone is friendly...what else could you want? Even the magazine selection is good...

  I have been looking for a dentist I'm comfortable with since I moved to Austin in 2010. I've been to 5 different dentists in that time, and have never been completely happy. Sometimes it's the dentist who's not so great, many times it's the hygienist (or, more often, a complete lack of a hygienist), and often its the office staff who leaves something to be desired. I think I've finally found the right dentist in Austin Family Dentist. It was easy to get an appointment, my appointment wasn't changed or cancelled, the front office staff was pleasant and organized, the appointment started on time, the hygienist (Ing) was knowledgeable and thorough, and the dentist (Dr. Fossum) was personable, to the point, and didn't try and tell me I needed unnecessary things done to my teeth. What more could I ask for? Whew, I'm glad the search is over!

  I wouldn't normally write a review for a dentist (who likes going to the dentist?) but I really don't mind coming here. The staff at the front is friendly and accommodating, the place is clean, and Dr. Fossum is gentle and patient. If you need your chompers cleaned or have to get any work done, give them a call.

  Like most folks I'm not a fan of visiting the Dentist office but they provided the best possible experience for me here. They came highly recommended and I know why. Top notch staff all around. Thank you to Dr Tucker and the entire crew.
