I created the Austin Event Studio in 2013 after planning parties, weddings and events for friends and family for years. I am a 3rd generation party planner, but the first to do it full time. My mother was the ultimate hostess, making each event welcoming, fun and elegant for everyone. It was important to her that everyone enjoy themselves and feel like they had attended something very special. I strive for that same feeling at all the weddings and other events I have the privilege to help with. I love being a Wedding Planner in Austin.

I have a degree in business and an eye for design. I love working with people and tapping into their ideas and imaginations to fuel my creativity for their wedding or event! I have experience designing complete weddings from concept to the send off. I also love coming in the month of a wedding to help take the stress off the bride and family by setting up the venue and making sure everything runs smoothly. In addition to weddings, I have coordinated and designed for music festivals, birthday parties, anniversary parties, baby showers and corporate functions.     Barbara organized our son's first birthday party , it was a hit. It was exactly how I pictured and i got a lot of compliments. She was also very responsive.

    Austin Event Studio (AES) did a wonderful job with my daughter's graduation party. As a busy mother of 4 and a full-time employee, I wanted my oldest daughter's graduation party to be special but there was just not enough time in the day to plan everything myself within the time period. AES listened to what I envisioned and worked with me to ensure that I was the decor for the venue looked exactly as planned and within my budget. Although AES is located in Austin and my event was in San Antonio, Barbara (the owner) is very friendly, was always quick to respond, professional and punctual. I would use AES for future events and I would recommend her services to others.

    Barbara was the absolute best decision we made for our big day. She went above and beyond in making sure that everything was running on schedule, and that all of our vendors were in the loop. She helped set up our decorations and made sure the entire wedding ran smoothly. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

    We hired Barbara for day-of coordination & decor/design assistance. I had SOOOO many ideas (thanks to Pinterest) and needed a little help pulling it all into one finalized plan. She met with us several times & always followed up with emails quickly. With the package we bought, she allowed us to use many of her awesome wedding decorations! They blended so nicely with the items I selected!! She sent us a nice copy of the finalized design plan (which was a huge relief for the DIY bride).
