What do you do when you have a conference in a location that you cannot visit before the conference? You hope and pray that your decisions work out and worry until the event happens.

I can tell you that Asante Catering was absolutely fantastic for our 3 day conference (held in Rancho Cordova) and our social event held at the Sacramento Railroad Museum. The staff was ready for each breakout session with fresh coffee, lunches were awesome, and our social evening event, the attendees just raved about the food. Elisabeth was quick to respond regarding our menu options and those last minute things that came up. Staff was attentive during our days.

The food and service will determine if your wedding was good or bad, and our wedding was awesome thanks to Asante Catering. From beginning to end, Layne and Terra-Lynne were easy to work with and readily available. They worked closely with our on site wedding coordinator, and ensured we followed our strict timeline. Cocktail hour, dinner service, and the bar all flowed seamlessly. As for the food, we still get compliments today. We offered some ideas about our vision for an upscale version of familiar comfort foods and they ran with it. They provided a variety of proteins, veggies, sides, and salads. Nothing was cold or bland when our guests returned to their dining tables. Additionally, we had guests with a wide range of dietary restrictions, and clashing cultures: gluten free, vegetarian, red meat allergies, nut allergies, lactose intolerant and a preference for Filipino and Spanish inspired dishes. Who would have thought of gluten free mac and cheese bites and spicy veggie black bean empanadas? They even offered to remake any salad on site to accommodate any other dietary restriction. ... -

While we ultimately went a different direction with our wedding caterer, working with Asante's staff was so great it still warrants a 5 star yelp review. Each interaction, from our first conversation to the "special date night" tasting Kali gave my fiance the "special bride" feeling that she had not experienced with any other vendor.

Brenda and her team did a wonderful job catering our daughters wedding at the Old Sugar Mill! Prior to the big day - we worked with Jordan in their front office - very sharp, efficient and pleasant - just what you need from a key vendor when you're planning a wedding.

The food was wonderful and her team did a fantastic job. They set up all our table centerpieces, had everything ready to go on a super tight time schedule and didn't bother us for anything. We were free to enjoy the evening and focus on what really mattered - friends, family and celebrating!
