I came 20 minutes before closing, and Ying was kind enough to accommodate me. I'm all about simplicity, so I usually just ask for a haircut to my shoulders and that's about it. She shampooed, cut, and styled my hair into a sleek bob. We also had a nice chat, and she pointed out her cool artwork. I was very satisfied with my $20 cut and will return!

Ying was really great, detailed& professional during my consultation after another more expensive salon in "Rittenhouse Square" fried my hair during a reverse ombre appt and instead gave me a full head of highlights then instead of acknowledging the error blamed me& dumped dye at the roots to fix it but which burned my scalp. Well, With her help I hope to salvage my fried hair with deep conditioning treatments. Plus she gave me a cute bob cut& showed me how easy it would be to style so I can at least style my hair cute as it heels& the damage grows out. And ladies...Ming has Olaplaex!!! The main reason that brought me to the salon! I called around and other salons were asking for $100's for Olaplex but her prices were much more fair& as a practice she said she always does a bond repair when she lightens hair, I really wish all salons did this...

Ying is absolutely fantastic. I came in wanting to bleach my jet black hair down and dye it an extremely light purple silver. It took four rounds of bleach, and over five hours, but she was super patient and took the time to get it right. You could tell she is a painter from the way she mixed the color, taking the time to go through a ton of very specific options with me before whipping up the exact color I wanted. Even after five hours of work, when she took the last round of dye out she made sure to treat my hair to counteract the damage from the bleach. Despite the huge amount of work she put in, she ended up charging me less than a third of the cost I'd been quoted at other salons. Great results AND great value.
