Arizona Sports Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy

Whether you’re an injured athlete, a secretary with aches and pains, a young child with a developmental delay, or a firefighter who has been injured on the job—physical therapy is meant to get you back on the field, back on the job, and back doing the things that you enjoy.

Arizona Sports Physical Therapy opened its doors in 1994 and has been improving the lives of our patients ever since. At Arizona Sports Physical Therapy, our physical therapists focus on returning every patient to optimal function so they can return to the activities they enjoy most. Patients can expect to be treated with pain reduction techniques, soft tissue, and joint mobilizations along with therapeutic exercise to return any lost motion or weakness and strive to return to full function.

Our approach is to treat pain and lost function through soft tissue mobilization, ASTYM, trigger point release, stretching, joint mobilization, dry needling. and other manual techniques, as well as the use of other modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, phonophoresis, and iontophoresis. Our goal is to return patients to their pre-injury, personal, and work activities as quickly and safely as possible. Read more

I have been to several local physical therapy locations, and it does not compare to the treatment I received at Arizona Sports Physical Therapy. The amazing care and compassion from everyone who works there is undeniable. Andrea helped me to rebuild my mobility after having my ACL repaired in my knee. I'm truly grateful for her care and expertise, and the kindness I felt every time I came for an appointment. This place helped me to get back to living a very active life. I'd recommend this place for their professionalism, warmth, and true healing abilities!

This place is awesome! I started my therapy after having surgery to repair a broken wrist. I was able to come in for my first session the DAY I got my cast removed, and my experience have been incredible ever since. The physical therapists and the techs in the office are upbeat, friendly, and very knowledgeable, but they make sure that you work for your results. Every session is tougher than the last, and the results prove that it works! Without the work of the PTs, I would still be suffering, with little to no range of motion in my wrist. I know that these people will not quit on me until I have gotten the results that I want. I very, very happy that I chose to come here for my physical therapy.

… The first time I went in I was assessed and then given a range of exercises that I could do on my own. ... I went from not being able to lift my arm wash my hair or take off my bra without odd contortions (yeah, picture that for a minute) to good as new within about two months of diligent work. …

The second time, with the bursitis, took more work and multiple sessions for treatment and exercises. When I went in I could barely walk and ANY impact (such as getting out of a truck) would about put me on the ground. … I had multiple sessions and I was taught exercises and stretches that I could incorporate into my workouts and do at home to help my rehabilitation process. And, it worked! I didn't have to go in for injections or surgery. …

… Since then I have recommended many other friends and family and they have reported positive results as well. Wonderful experience.

The BEST PT around us. They have helped me to keep running, hiking and boot camping and my husband to re-hab from a broken leg and pre-hab for knee replacement surgery. We love you all.
