If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Niki was absolutely the most wonderful and talented seamstress I have worked with, going above and beyond with my wedding dress. ... Not only is Niki very skilled as a seamstress, she is also an incredibly kind and wonderful person. If you are looking for a seamstress or tailor, look no further than Alva Graciano. They are sure to be able to tackle the most challenging pieces with a smile and perfection!

I have been using Alva as my go to seamstress for a couple years now. I have never been disappointed. Most recently I had my wedding dress fitted by them. I knew I could put all my trust in them for the most important dress of my life. I, of course, was so pleased. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality tailoring!!

I came here on the recommendation of a friend to get a bridesmaid's dress hemmed. I didn't do too much price comparison with other tailors so can't really comment on the price, but they had a Groupon that definitely brought the price down to much cheaper than other prices I was quoted. ...

In my experience, Alva Graciano Tailors is the best haute-couture tailoring service in Chicago! After my seamstress retired, I was concerned I would not find someone as talented. I was then referred to Alva Graciano by Michael Shallow, a talented artist/designer who is part of their staff, and I was immediately impressed with the outstanding quality of their services, and with the talent, professionalism, and dedication of the owners, Niki Tsotrou and Fernando Alva, as well as with their excellent staff.

Been through alterations here with 2 of my friends' wedding dresses and they are phenomenal. The most skilled tailors in the city. Prices are a little higher, but it is definitely worth it. They can do very difficult tailoring jobs and it is done beautifully.
