Hey, I’m Justine and I want to welcome you to my little corner of healthy living sunshine! I am a Registered Dietitian and Holistic Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and I love people, farm-to-table restaurants and totally geek out on finding new clean beauty and skincare products. I live in sunny Southern California with my handsome hubby, my sweet baby girl, and our fluffy Old English Sheepdog.

I am absolutely overjoyed you’re here! I get a little giddy over talking to women about their health journeys and walking alongside couples to optimize fertility, naturally.

If I’m being honest, I am often overwhelmed (in a good way) at how simple, everyday changes in our food choices and the cleaning and beauty products we use in our homes can create such a positive impact on our health, especially our fertility. For both you and the hubs.

The truth is my husband and I began preparing for conception years ago before we were even ready to discuss bringing a baby into this world! Sound weird? A little ahead of ourselves you’re thinking?     My husband and I used a preconception package this winter to get our bodies ready for the healthiest baby possible. We put everything we learned into practice and conceived easily and naturally. I continue to follow the nutrition and lifestyle guidelines that we learned and I am having a super smooth (now 15 weeks) pregnancy!     Two years ago I had a wake-up call... I had a 99% lesion in my LAD coronary artery. After my cardiologist opened my LAD and prescribed a host of meds I went to Justine of Alo Wellness to see if she had any suggestions to improve my health. I didn't consider my diet to be a factor... Bad genes I thought. Soon I learned otherwise, she showed me that 5-6 small meals that were low in carbs would deactivate my tendency to store excess carbs as fat. She worked out a menu for me and helped me get on track...

    I recently purchased the Real Food Meal Plan - Fall Edition. My wife and I have never really cooked or done anything in the kitchen, but we have found this to be enjoyable. The recipes are easy and the meals are healthy and taste great! Physically, we feel great and are encouraged to eat healthy all the time. Many of the recipes are also enjoyed by our two year-old.
