  Let me start by saying I've always been skeptical of computer shops. Its not rare to pick your computer up non functional with less parts(screws, etc) than when you dropped it off. I rarely use the service as I have service and built a few computers in my time...

  My 4 year old laptop had been too slow to use for the past couple years. I finally decided to do something about it and brought it in to Allocate. Alec (or Alex, I'm not sure) was very helpful! He always got back to me quickly and explained what was wrong and what my options were. I ended up having my hard drive replaced - not a cheap thing to do in general, but I felt that their pricing was pretty reasonable. Now my laptop is quite possibly faster than the day I bought it and I'm sure I will get many more years out of it! I highly recommend Allocate for your computer repair needs!

  After a long day of drinking wine in Amador County, we stumbled back to our guest house to play some computer games. It was there that my boyfriend's brother stepped on the charging port of my laptop and broke it. The port was shot and the laptop was doomed. Sadness. Or so I thought.
