  I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews but the tailor at Alba's just deserves every bit of praise I could give! I can in on the same day I had to wear a sari to an Indian wedding and he miraculously tailored the top part in less than an hour! I will def be back for his business. And a super nice guy!

  All the stars for Lumi and team! Our washing machine broke mid-cycle. They took on our nasty, wet clothes that had been stuck in the machine overnight. They came back to us clean and neatly folded within one day. Thanks for the save!

  I don't normally review locations unless I feel very strongly about the service. If you need anything dry cleaning or especially tailoring, I urge you to go to Alba! I would give this place 100 stars if I could!
  
  I'm leaving for my destination wedding tomorrow and I realized one of the hook and eye clasps was broken on my wedding dress. It's Sunday and no where in NYC was open or accepting last minute tailoring. Finally, I found Alba. I called their store and all I had to say was "I'm leaving to get married tomorrow" and the owner eased my worries and told me he could help me right away. As soon as I walked in, he took my dress and quickly replaced the clasp. He gave me a hug, congratulated me on my wedding and didn't charge me for the service (despite my insistence). I didn't have a regular dry cleaner or tailor, now I do. I will never go anywhere other than Alba. This place has earned my utmost respect. Wonderful customer service, friendly staff, perfect tailoring and helpful, even when you're in a time crunch. This place is an absolute gem and I couldn't be more thankful for their help.

  This is deserves more than 5 stars. I went into work in the area and found a rip on the back along the seam of my suit jacket, I called and he told me to come in, not to waste time on the phone! They took my jacket with no words exchange and came back out and said it'll take 10 minutes. Within less than 10 minutes, my jacket was fixed. The best part is when I asked how much do I owe him, he jokingly said $1 and I said "no seriously", he gave me a sarcastic look and said "nothing, go"...after a few back and forths he finally said "stop wasting my time, go" in a joking manner....this place and man is a blessing from God, definitely coming back to tailor all my suits from now on!
