Going to see Dr. Marcus is like seeing an old friend you have known for a long time. I have only seen him twice but he is SO personable and friendly. In a professional sense, he has wonderful "chair-side" manners, is hospitable and extremely thorough. You will not feel rushed and he explains whatever is needed. Finally convinced my husband to see him too and he said the same! 5 stars well deserved!

I can truly recommend this place. I have just been moving to Alameda from Germany. I was trying to find the same contact lenses I had in Germany, or at least similar ones, which isn't that easy because the brand and product names seem to change depending on the country they are sold in. They gave me an appointment within days and were very flexible on the timing. Dr. Marcus and his assistant Karen were very professional and found the perfect contact lenses for me. I even got a discount through them! Dr. Marcus even speaks a little German if that is relevant to some of you. 5 stars!

Dr. Marcus is great and very attentive. I was having issues with my cornea and went to see him. Not only did he give directions on how to alleviate the discomfort, but he also did a follow up call and provided a list of specialists in case I needed to see one. His assistants are welcoming, as well. My fiancé is also patient of Dr. Marcus and would not be surprised if my son will be a patient when he's old enough! �

I have been going to Dr. Marcus for many years and he is fabulous. He diagnosed my daughter with a rare condition that took an ophthalmologist with a specialized machine to confirm. This early detection helped to save her vision.
