I am so happy I chose Stephanie Pafford's Akasha Yoga 200hr teacher training. The field trips were so much fun. I was able to meet a wonderful group of women from all walks of life, who were also on their journey to learn more about yoga. The classwork was engaging and our guest speaker for anatomy was great. I feel like this training has prepared me to begin my yoga teacher journey. It was the right fit for me:)

My favorite yoga studio! Akasha is a small studio nestled upstairs with big windows that look out over the trees. Most importantly, this is one of the few studios in the area with authentic yoga...not gym-style or hot yoga! You can still get a great workout but there is a warm-hearted spiritual feeling and sense of community here. Great instructors for a range of levels and styles. I highly recommend it!

I love this studio! I started looking for a yoga studio about six months ago and I did not want to go to a hot yoga chain (which there are lots in the UTC area). Akasha is a calm space with HUGE windows, so you can actually see the sky and trees as your practice. I love it!
The instructors are really nice and very sweet. I love Dani's Deep Stretch class, and Jenny's Restorative Yoga class, and almost all the Hatha classes are really good. This is a great place if you are beginner and are feeling intimated (like I was).

Doing the Akasha Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Jai Ma in RB was one of the best decisions I have ever made. We learned about Hatha, Restorative and Vinyasa, and the spiritual element was very special for me. Nita and Steph are amazing ladies. I am fortunate and grateful for this training. Make sure you try out the instructors and chat with them for whatever studios you are considering for your practice or training ahead of time. The attention to detail in cueing and sequence is important, and these ladies have it down! You can do the training at Akasha or Jai Ma, or even in other cities and states now!

LOVE this studio! Practiced here for 2 and a half years before doing the Akasha Yoga teacher training at sister studio, Yoga Jai Ma. Warm, open environment with small NON-HEATED classes! Friendly and great yoga community :)
