  Sean is as honest as they come. Just had what I thought was a major issue with my truck and was quoted 3,864 with a 10 day turnaround time by another shop that was on AAA's drop-off list since I needed it towed somewhere on a Sunday. Sean advised me to have it towed to his shop. One day later truck fixed for 3 grand less than what the other place estimated. I have other co workers who have taken their car to Advantec and they are very pleased with the service and work. Thank you Advantec for always giving honest advice and great service. Don't go anywhere else!!

  I got multiple quotes for my breaks on my mini and Advantec was $200 cheaper than the other quotes which is why I chose them. They were also extremely friendly and checked my fluid levels. I told them I might need an oil change and they said I didn't need it yet which is nice. They aren't just trying to charge you for anything they can think of. I will definitely go to them for my full services in future.

  I'm a pretty smart guy, and I've figured out how to do some work on my car over the years, but when something's not working I bring it to a mechanic - somebody who fixes cars for a living like I fix computers. Sean is always friendly, helpful, and fair. He's not the cheapest shop around, but he makes things work again and I've never had an issue with any of his repairs. He's direct and upfront, much like Tony of Main Street Auto Care in Ramona - something I value in anybody that I work with. I don't know how other people on here have had polar opposite dealings with him, but if I ever have a bad experience, I'll be back here to correct this.

  I will never use another mechanic as long as advantec is open. The owner is always willing to talk about my car with me after work is done and never rushes me out if I have questions. He's also very honest. Three times in the last year I've asked him to fix or replace something that ended up being unnecessary. Instead of just charging me and taking my money, he saved me the hassle. He's also scolded me (in a good way) for waiting too long between oil changes, saying he doesn't want me to have to buy a new car sooner than necessary. Overall a great experience. Always fast to complete work and there's several nice places to get lunch around the area while you wait as well.
