Great guy. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Does mobile fittings, will come to you, evenings and weekends. The first thing he helped me with was getting a good saddle. I never realized how important that could be for comfort.

As professional as they come. Took every detail into consideration. Made my current equipment work everywhere it could and provided me with excellent service where there was absolutely no way to fit me with my current stem. Seriously the best in the business.

I first met Adam at our fitting appointment. I'm new at this and I've been commuting to work the past several months. I had major lower back pain, went away when I stopped riding for two weeks (vacation) and came back when I started again. After the fitting on Saturday, I rode Sunday for 8 miles, a few miles Monday, and 5 mile today to work, so far my back feels great! WELL worth it. (Also, Adam was on time, very professional, great service!).
(Biked home last night and again to work today, back is feeling even better.)

I met Adam when he sold me my bike last summer, and when I started to have knee pain from my daily commute this summer he was my go to.
The most impressive part of the experience was Adam's attention to detail and his ability to ask the right questions. After we settled my knee issue, he brought my attention to my saddle and tactfully asked me if I was having any issues with it. As a matter of fact, I have been seeing a specialist to address pain in that area for over a year and I was considering surgery as a last resort to address it. I had no idea it could potentially be related to or exacerbated by a saddle issue, and in a later follow up appointment my doctor confirmed this. The new saddle is working out great, and I may have just avoided going under the knife.
After the fit, I left the bike at Thick for a tune up. Long story short, that bike didn't make it. Adam and Thick were with me all the way, collaborating, and helping to navigate the problems. In the end, I got a new bike and Adam re-fit it at my home. My goal was to make it to Bike PGH this year, and we got it done!
My first full week of commuting, plus the 25 mile ride for Bike PGH, is in the books. No pain, all gain!

Extremely comprehensive assessment and helpful suggestions. Plus Adams enthusiasm and non-patronizing attitude are a total bonus.

Adam fit me on my custom Surly Straggler build and my Salsa El Mariachi and I couldn't be happier. I was first fit right after my Straggler build was completed when I was riding flat pedals and then again a year later when I was ready to switch to clip-less. I was experiencing hip and knee pain after switching to clip-less on my own that quickly disappeared after some adjustments were made at my fitting. I then switched my El Mar to clipless and again felt some hip and knee pain. Scheduling a fit with Adam was a must because after some adjustments I again was feeling great both during and after my rides. Both fits were a great experience with an even greater result. I feel in sync with my bikes more than ever. Adam's goal is that every customer is in love with their bike, and riding their bike. Spending money on a fit by Adam is a no-brainer. I will be seeing him for any new bikes I buy or build to be sure I can enjoy them to the max and get the most out of my money.
