  I'll keep it short and sweet since everything that needs to be said has been said in the other reviews.
  
  My one and only mechanic in the city retired so I was left with the daunting task of having to find another place. As we all know, one does not simply go to just any mechanic. I was fortunate enough to have had Robert recommended to me by family.
  
  He is honest, straightforward, & reliable. Simple, yet rare things to find in a business nowadays. I don't know anything about cars, but that doesn't mean I don't want to try to understand. Robert took the time to explain the work done & was very professional and kind.

  They know exactly what they're doing and NEVER charge you overprice! Is the best place I've found in California! I went to another place and I regret that till today! The owner didn't even want to check the car once cause he said he will charge me for nothing and it was better to take the car to the manufacturer cause it was still covered by the warranty while another was charging me $200 just "to see" what I was going to need! I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS AUTO CARE!!!!

  Woke up to a dead car battery this morning, and had a pre-existing taillight out. I called Robert at Action Auto Care and he took me in immediately (even though I could tell the shop was super busy this morning). I was in and out in 30 minutes! As everyone else has said in their reviews, Robert was professional, honest, and was upfront about the costs before doing any work. I felt that the price was very fair and am going back on Monday for an oil change. While waiting on my car I chatted with some other customers and each of them raved about Action Auto Care, and have been loyal customers for years.
  
  Very relieved to have found a reliable, honest, and caring auto care shop in the middle of SF. Two thumbs up!

  I have used Robert for over the last 10 years and he is always honest and great to work with! Fair pricing and likes to explain cost upfront which is super helpful. I highly recommend him.

  I've been coming to Robert for years now, mostly for oil changes and checkups, but also the occasional, "what's wrong with my car?" There's not really much to say here other than that they're awesome folks: quick, to the point, no BS, and most importantly with auto care, honest, not selling or scamming you into unnecessary services. Heck, he's fixed a few minor things for me before and didn't even bother ringing me up for it. Quality service right there.

  Robert is amazing. Gave this place a chance because it was close to work and had great reviews, came here to confirm the service.
  
  I called in regarding a bad rear wheel bearing, and Robert stayed on the phone to provide me with an accurate cost estimate. Quoted around $250, and come out to $280 including tax. Upon dropping it off they were able to take a look and figure out that only the driver's side needed replacing. I called on a Monday, scheduled to drop it off on a Friday, and picked it up the same day at 4pm.

  Robert at Action Auto is extremely friendly and honest. He will tell you what is going on with your car and give you different options for fixing it: a quick cheap fix or a full overhaul. He can do it all!
