Accurate Safe & Lock Co.

Locksmith

Accurate Safe & Lock was established in Seattle in 1952 by Boyd Murphy, or as everyone knew him, “Murph.” In 1998 Murph’s niece Yvonne Murphy Barbour bought the family business as her own. When Yvonne was in high school, she would cut keys for her uncle so he could run service calls. He taught her how to re-key locks and do other important lock work. When she later married a locksmith, they bought the business because it had maintained its integrity and great reputation. Yvonne is now the sole owner and maintains the business’ excellent name and standing. She prides herself on her dedication to her customers’ safety and security. If you are looking for the best Seattle locksmith with half a century’s experience, then you have come to the right place! Read more

Accurate Safe & Lock Co. successfully copied a tricky elevator door key for me that was supposedly "impossible to duplicate." They got it right the first time around for a fraction of the price of the elevator company. I am moving to a new house and plan to have them do all our locks. Couldn't be happier with their service, expertise, and pricing.

These people are good at what they do. I had 4 locks that were missing keys in a custom bus. I drove the vehicle to their location. They were able to pick and remove the locks and then clean and replace them. Great attitudes, reasonable prices and very professional work.

Very Friendly, wonderful small business. Helpful employees make you feel like friends and family, not disposable customers. They're affordable, they've got personality.. it's the type of place in this big city that'll make you think for brief moment that you're in a small town.

Awesome experience with the Accurate shop. Needed some 'unremovable' locksets removed from motorcycle luggage. They were able to make a custom tool to remove without damage to cases or locks. Price was more than reasonable.
