I began tutoring at an early age when I would help fellow classmates with math & science. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oregon State University in 2012, where I studied Biochemistry, Physics, and Spanish. During this time I worked as a Science and Math tutor for college students.
In 2015, I received my MA from the University of Colorado-Boulder, where I taught university courses for 3 years. I received a 4.0 in my Master's program and was accepted to prestigious Ph.D. programs at Penn State, University of New Mexico and University of Florida. However, rather than pursuing a career as a researcher, I found my heart was drawn to being a tutor and a mentor for young adults.
I am a lover of learning and I feel that cultivating this love for learning in others is the greatest work I can do. Read more

Abby tutored my HS Senior daughter in preparation of her ACT test this last December 2016 with the goal of raising her overall score, especially her math. Abby relates very well to young adults. My daughter said she covered a lot of information, explained it very well and kept the pace right at what she could integrate (given our short timeframe.) She was familiar with both SAT & ACT testing formats and gave her valuable tips which assisted her in raising her ACT score 3 points which put my daughter in scholarship range. I would recommend Abby to any student or parent needing assistance-particulary our experience with math. THANK YOU Abby!

We highly recommend Abby for tutoring. Our daughter is a freshman at Lincoln and Abby has been an excellent Spanish tutor for her. I have been a teacher for over 20 years and Abby has a natural ability to connect with teens. Our daughter enjoys her lessons with Abby and feels them to be extremely useful. We appreciate the time that Abby takes after each lesson to write us an email letting us know what was covered and what our daughter could work on to improve her skills. We feel blessed to have found Abby, she is a talented teacher!
