I honestly can't say enough good things about A World With Words! He was not speaking much and we knew we needed to find someone extraordinary to help. ...

My son was at A World With Words for several years and just recently he went from the extended resource to full time general ed. I know Norma and Amy had a HUGE part in his success. I highly recommend contacting Norma if your child needs speech therapy.

We have a 17 year old son who is autistic. Ms. Norma has been seeing him since he was 4 years old. Like so many of these kiddos he could only point, grunt and throw temper tantrums. Ms. Norma has been such a huge, professional and positive influence not only in my son's life but ours as well. She didn't just take him on but she took on the whole family. She helped us deal with his speech disability and taught us how to help him. He is now able to carry on a conversation. You have to be careful what you wish for... we wanted our son to be able to speak with us and now he talks ALL the time and doesn't need speech therapy anymore. Norma has been so important to us she is an honorary member of the family for life! Words can never say thanks enough!

Norma has been seeing my autistic son since he was three years old and could only grunt and throw tantrums. He now speaks clearly and fluently and with a better vocabulary than most typical kids. We drive 45 minutes each way just to see Norma each week. She is a total professional who does her best to serve a population that greatly needs her skills.
