... So I knew who I had to hire for my pseudo wedding. Lora owns and operates A Day to Remember. She took my idea and ran with it to perfection. She allowed me to surprise my wife, have a good time, and make the whole event elegant, classy and so memorable for my wife and myself. She made all the right suggestions for wedding day vendors, decorated the venue to beyond lusciousness but the best part was my wife was left speechless the whole evening. She marveled at how the whole event was pulled together under her nose. Not only that it was done so well. All my guests couldn't believe two things. First, that I pulled it off with my big mouth and second, how well it was all put together. They totally enjoyed the evening to its fullest.

I am in the wedding industry as a wedding photographer so I have been to a few weddings :) So please take it from one professional talking about another-hire Lora if you want a well run, well organized, stress free wedding. She is the bomb!!! -

Lora Ward from A Day to Remember Wedding Consultants is an absolute peach! I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review... There is no mistaking her experience as a wedding planner. I am a wedding DJ and if there is no wedding planner on-site, the responsibility usually rests on the DJ's shoulders. With Lora on the job, I can relax and focus on my performance.

Lora is very detail oriented and knowledgable with all things weddings. She is who I call with questions about proper etiquette, or traditional elements for a wedding. She has a natural ability to match the DJ's personality to her client's to ensure a good fit. It really takes the guess work out of shopping for a wedding DJ.
What I like most is at the very end of the wedding, if the time is right, the mood is set and the heavens are shining down on us... you just might see her out on the dance floor for one song. It's in that moment you can really see it in the reaction from her clients how much they adore her as they jump for joy and pull her in for a hug and celebrate a job well done. -

Choosing Lora was the best decision we made throughout the entire 14-month wedding planning process. Without Lora, the rest of it wouldn’t have been impossible. We were hesitant to hire a planner because we thought the planner would plan our wedding for us and it would be the same wedding that everyone throws. Instead, Lora provided us with options after listening to what we envisioned. Lora introduced us to amazingly talented vendors who executed our vision better than we dreamed or imagined it. Lora never pushed your ideas down our throats and backed off when we were uninterested in one of her ideas. Lora provided us with proper etiquette, but didn’t harp on us if we wanted to go in another direction. Lora handled every unexpected problem that popped up along the way. I think Lora’s troubleshooting went way above and beyond what I possibly could have reasonably expected. When our officiant was unable to perform the ceremony, Lora tried to find us another one weeks before the wedding. When Lora couldn’t find one, Lora provided me ceremony examples to write our ceremony. Then, she generously provided me feedback on the draft. Thanks to Lora many of our guests say that the ceremony was their favorite part of the wedding! Words cannot express how much I appreciated how quickly Lora responded to my questions via e-mail or the telephone. Lora was more supportive and helpful during this process than any therapist or best friend could have been. When we were searching for a planner across the country, we ultimately choose between Lora and another planner who is only involved during the last month of the wedding. The other planner would have handed us a list of “preferred vendors” when we became her clients. Now, I can’t believe that we even considering hiring another planner. It was crucial that Lora was involved throughout the entire process. Lora attended every vendor meeting to make sure that the vendor got our vision and to ensure thing
