  I have nothing but Great things to say about this dental office. It is physically pleasant, with great window views, a nice layout, clean and modern with nice furniture and good magazines (very important). The staff couldn't be more pleasant and Dr. O'Loughlin is very enjoyable on top of being a first class dentist. She's very funny and she's very gentle - no pain! The practice even pays for parking - I love that. When my daughter visits from NYC, she goes to 2nd and Madison for checkup, cleaning, and any repair work (I pay of course). I don't mind paying because the practice is that good.

  You know the feeling of being really cared for by a provider. That is the feeling that I left with today after my most excellent cleaning and consultation. The people who work in this office are thoughtful, attentive and kind.
  Allicia cleaned my teeth with a depth of caring and gentleness, that is par for the course in this office.
  She was very knowledgeable and deliberate without being preachy in her reminder to floss. The way she delivered this reminder was powerful and funny- a way my brain will actually catalogue and remember.
  Dr.Oloughlin, spoke with me rather than at me, human to human leveling with each in a respectful manner. She is professional and has an awesome chair side manner to boot.
  This is a place I'll keep coming back to for their stellar customer service and great prices( especially if you don't have dental insurance).

  Wish you could give more starts because this place has unmatched service. I had an issue with a tooth and my dentist was being terribly difficult so I called 2nd and Madison. They got me in same day no problem and when I showed up 15 minutes early they rushed me into x-rays with no wait. From front desk to x-rays to evaluation to speaking with the doctor, everyone was so easy to talk to and supplied me with the most information possible. I could go on with the details but it has already been said in the other reviews.
  
  Just go there, you wont hate going to the dentist anymore.

  My new favorite business establishment of any sort in Portland. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, competent, and efficient. Loved the online bookings, eco-friendly dry-erase forms, and the beer/wine/other beverages on offer! I got a very thorough cleaning that left my teeth looking great.
  
  For all that, the prices are amazing - $99 for a new patient exam/cleaning including 16 x-rays, $89 for future checkups!

  I just gotta share how amazing 2nd & Madison Dental is! I've always been nervous going to the dentist and I've finally found a great one! They offered me a beer while I waited (don't mind if I do! Plus I didn't have to go back to work!). The staff and hygienists were so friendly and put me at ease. Dr. Cindy O'Loughlin filled my two cavities so quickly while also being very detail oriented. She has a sense of humor which is awesome and she laughed at my jokes! Haha. I can say for the first time that I look forward to my teeth cleaning in six months from now!
